Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, implement, and test high-level applications for our systems. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with users and analysts, and drive successful software implementations.

The role requires advanced expertise in C#/.NET, full stack development, and experience with Windows Forms/Services, along with knowledge of SQL Server and modern development tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design rules.
• Solid team-oriented developer with timely delivery.
• Experience across an entire product development lifecycle.
• Proficient in C# and .NET technologies.
• Full stack experience preferred.
• Strong React JS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of XML/XSLT.
• Experience with SQL Server 2022, SQL, and T-SQL.
• Proficient in Visual Studio 2020/2022/2026 development.
• Experience developing Windows Forms and Windows Services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• MSF Agile or CMMI process exposure.
• Healthcare standards and regulatory requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds, implements and tests new applications and upgrades.
• Ensures integration with existing systems.
• Trains and mentors staff to raise technical skill.
• Establishes technical standards for programming.
• Prepares user manuals updates and technical docs.
• Collaborates with Business Analysts to define requirements, architecture, testing, release docs.
• Proposes architectural approaches for software applications.
• Ensures architectural integrity across the product.
