Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, implement, and test high-level applications for the System. You will provide advanced technical expertise, lead project implementations, and collaborate with users to align business needs with software solutions.

The role emphasizes full leadership in deployments, architecture decisions, and ensuring integration with existing environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of object oriented design rules.
• Team oriented developer with ability to deliver quality solutions on time.
• Experience in full product development life cycle.
• Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Full stack experience and React JS preferred.
• XML/XSLT experience.
• SQL Server 2022, SQL and T-SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2020/2022/2026.
• Experience developing Windows forms and Windows services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MSF Agile or CMMI process familiarity.
• Healthcare standards and regulatory requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds, implements and tests new applications, upgrades, enhancements, databases and performs maintenance to ensure system compatibility.
• Ensures integration of new applications or projects with existing technical environment.
• Trains and assists in the development of personnel for cross-training and skill building.
• Establishes technical standards and guidelines for effective programming.
• Verifies that user manuals are up to date and accurate.
• Maintains current knowledge of technology and trends.
• Writes technical documentation for development and support processes.
• Collaborates with customers and Business Analysts to create software requirements, architecture, testing plans, and release documentation.
• Conceives and presents architectural approaches for software applications.
• Ensures architectural integrity and consistency across the product.
