Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in St. Louis to join the Tools Team. You will build and enhance internal tools, collaborate with analysts and QA, and drive code reviews to uphold engineering standards.

You’ll help advance DevOps and deliver scalable solutions with the architecture group in a financial context. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong programming skills in C#/C++, and a proactive stance on cloud, automation, and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, C++).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
• Validated knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, DX1).
• Proficiency with databases and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
