Job summary

Universal Logistics is a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions. A .NET Developer role is available onsite in Warren, MI.

You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software that supports our clients and innovation in logistics and transportation. Responsibilities include implementing scalable applications, building RESTful APIs, and participating in SDLC processes from analysis to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in .NET development is required.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET Framework and modern .NET versions.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and Git version control.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks and automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with emphasis on testability and edge cases.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and other integration services (GraphQL, gRPC a plus).
• Contribute to system architecture discussions including microservices and event-driven designs.
• Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in debugging, monitoring, and observability efforts and contribute to incident response.
