Job summary

bfiverecruiting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a contract team building a modern multi-tenant web platform. The stack includes a React/Next.js front end and a .NET Core API with SSO for customer organizations.

You will partner with the architect to design and implement the platform, set coding standards, and mentor engineers while protecting tenant data across services. The role emphasizes secure development and collaboration with distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with production APIs in .NET Core(C#).
• Strong RESTful API design including versioning, error handling, pagination, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Relational databases experience (SQL Server) with data modeling, tuning, and EF Core.
• OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect token-based auth knowledge.
• Tenant isolation concepts and multi-tenant SaaS experience.
• API security and protection against common web vulnerabilities.
• Experience with automated tests and CI/CD workflows.
• Mentoring or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a multi-tenant application API, data model and tenant-aware logic.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs in .NET Core for web app and integrations.
• Implement OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect auth and SSO integration.
• Enforce tenant data isolation and verify via tests and code reviews.
• Build front-end features in React/Next.js supporting data management for customers.
• Set quality standards for code, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers through pairing and reviews.
• Apply secure development practices and identify vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to estimation, backlog refinement and sprint planning.
