Job summary

Vervint is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 6-month contract in Grand Rapids, MI. You will design and implement a multi-tenant SaaS platform with a React/Next.js front end and .NET Core API, ensuring tenant isolation and high security.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and help establish CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with distributed teams and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production APIs built in .NET Core (C#).
• Strong RESTful API design including versioning, error handling and pagination.
• OAuth 2.0 & OpenID Connect token-based auth.
• Tenant isolation concepts and per-tenant configuration.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a multi-tenant API and tenant-aware application logic.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs in .NET Core for web app and integrations.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SSO integrations.
• Enforce tenant data isolation and verify via tests and code reviews.
• Build and review front-end features in React/Next.js with tenant-aware UX.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and uphold code standards.
• Apply secure development practices and address vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to estimation, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
