Job summary

NewRez is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance software components per design requirements and QA processes. You will collaborate with clients, IT staff, vendors and other stakeholders to define user needs and deliver technical solutions.

The role requires strong C#, .NET Framework, T-SQL, and UI skills (Angular/React/TypeScript) and experience with Azure cloud development. Expect a mix of design, coding, testing, and deployment activities with guidance provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a structured environment working on systems, applications, programming, development, testing, implementation and deployment.
• At least 7 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework 4.5+, T-SQL.
• UI development experience with Angular (latest), React, CSS3, HTML4/HTML5 and TypeScript.
• Practical knowledge of Agile principles and ability to lead SCRUM ceremonies.
• Experience with cloud development (Azure preferred).
• Maitain mortgage origination industry experience is highly preferred; AI knowledge (RAG/Graph/LLMs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, program, test, implement and deploy software applications with proper documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with clients, IT resources, vendors and stakeholders to identify user requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure coding accuracy, create technical documentation and manage version control.
• Work with project participants to maximize productivity and timely completion.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Possibly serve as project technology lead or functional specialist.
• Investigate and resolve complex system problems and determine root cause.
• Share information appropriately while handling confidential information.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
