Job summary

Astemo Ltd. in Greenfield, Indiana is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain our MES and plant production systems. This hands-on role also requires independent leadership of projects from concept to completion, with cross-functional collaboration across IT and production teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive .NET experience, familiarity with lean manufacturing, and ERP systems like SAP, ServiceNow, Ignition, or Leading2Lean, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive .NET software development (C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core).
• Proven track record leading complex software projects end-to-end.
• Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and MES/SCADA in production.
• Hands-on with SAP or other ERP systems; IT security awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of Plant Production Systems (MES, data collection, traceability).
• Own project scope, deadlines, and communication of status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Maintain and evolve Corporate and Plant Production Systems’ codebase following best practices.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide on-call support for plant floor systems and drive root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure and server teams on networks, servers, and security.
