Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Software Engineer to join a high-energy, collaborative team delivering modern software solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with C# and ASP.NET, and create custom extensions for Kofax content capture.

You will modernize legacy VB6 systems to .NET 4.5+ and participate in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and agile ceremonies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with .NET/C#.
• Experience with Kofax Capture or similar content capture systems preferred.
• Experience migrating VB6 or other legacy apps to .NET 4.5+.

Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into scalable software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain efficient .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET.
• Develop custom extensions and enhancements for Kofax applications to improve content capture.
• Migrate and modernize legacy systems including VB6 to .NET 4.5+.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and support to ensure smooth deployment and operation.
• Apply automation, CI/CD practices to streamline releases.
