Job summary

HRB in Lexington Park, MD seeks an experienced software engineer to lead development, testing, and maintenance of .NET applications. You will architect scalable solutions, oversee the SDLC with DevOps practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements include a BS in a related field, experience with SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks, agile methods, and ability to obtain an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. On-site role with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field is required.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar relational DB.
• Experience with any JavaScript framework.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with DBAs, product managers, and QA teams.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain an AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner at minimum).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of .NET applications.

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle with DevOps best practices.
• Develop and maintain real-time, multitasking, and interrupt-driven applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
• Develop solutions that match client expectations and requirements.
• Ensure software compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and user manuals.
• Stay current with industry trends related to AWS, CI/CD, and UX development.
