Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support enterprise HR, Legal, and Compliance systems. You will design, develop, and modernize C#/.NET applications and APIs, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

You will drive modernization efforts, build integrations across systems, and develop POCs to validate new technologies. This role requires ownership from analysis to deployment and a strong focus on security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C# / .NET Core development.
• Experience building and supporting REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience modernizing or enhancing legacy enterprise applications.
• Experience with React, Blazor, or similar UI frameworks.
• Experience working directly with HR, Legal, Compliance, or other business stakeholders.
• Ability to independently own projects from requirements through delivery.
• Experience using AI tools to improve development productivity.
• Strong communication skills.
• Kafka or event-driven architecture experience.
• Experience with enterprise application integrations.
• Background in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting application modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support C#/.NET applications and APIs supporting HR, Legal, and Compliance functions.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Modernize legacy applications through upgrades, enhancements, and code refactoring.
• Build and support integrations between enterprise business systems.
• Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate new technologies and modernization strategies.
• Create technical documentation, solution recommendations, and application assessments.
• Ensure applications meet security, governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Own projects from analysis and design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with application teams to drive continuous improvement and modernization efforts.
