Everest Consultants, Inc. seeks a Software Developer / Programmer 3 in Portland, OR, on a 12-month contract with hybrid work.

The role develops and maintains enterprise software for a power scheduling system, including backend services, APIs, web and desktop apps, and SQL Server databases, following standards to deliver secure, reliable solutions. You will collaborate with business experts and Agile teams to resolve issues, improve performance, and support enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software development for IT systems.
• Strong understanding of SOLID design and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and complex queries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain power scheduling system features.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Develop and support web interfaces and Windows desktop apps.
• Write and optimize SQL Server queries and procedures.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain tests across layers.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders.
