Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking a highly skilled Developer with deep experience in .NET and Java, specializing in API integrations, cloud messaging, and secure DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Kong API Gateway, IBM MQ, Solace, AWS KMS, and modern CI/CD and security tools such as Harness, Veracode, SonarQube, GHAS and Wiz.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience focused on cloud-native apps.
• Deep .NET experience preferred or strong Java.
• Experience with API integration using JSON and Kong API Gateway.
• Hands-on with IBM MQ and Solace messaging.
• Proficiency with AWS KMS for encryption.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Harness.
• Familiar with Veracode, SonarQube, GHAS, Wiz.
• Proficient in Java, Python, .NET Core, or Node.js; GitHub usage.
• Experience with Jira.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Observability with Datadog, Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of microservices and secure coding.
• Proactive strategic mindset; Agile/Scrum with Jira.

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer with deep experience in .NET (required/prefered), Java Development (experience helpful), API integration, cloud messaging platforms, and secure DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Kong API Gateway, IBM MQ, Solace, AWS KMS, and modern CI/CD and security tools such as Harness,Veracode, SonarQube, GHAS (GitHub Advanced Security) and Wiz. This role will be instrumental in building secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions across our cloud ecosystem.Professional or personal experience with Large Language Model (LLM) applications such as Claude Code (CLI) is preferred.

Must have

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on cloud-native applications.
• Deep experience in .NET preferred, or JAVA experienceStrong experience with API integration using JSON and Kong API Gateway.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM MQ and Solace messaging platforms.
• Proficiency in AWS KMS for secure key management and encryption.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Harness.
• Familiarity with Veracode, SonarQube, GHAS, and Wiz for security scanning and compliance.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET Core, Node.js) with use of GitHub / GitHub CoPilot.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools preferably with Terraform.
• Proficient in application observability using known tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and secure coding practices.
• Demonstrates a proactive, strategic mindset, approaching work with critical thinking rather than task execution alone.
• Comfortable voicing perspectives, asking thoughtful questions, and constructively challenging assumptions to drive better outcomes for the project team.
• Experienced in delivering end‑to‑end within Agile environments, leveraging Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and Jira for effective backlog management and execution.

Nice to have

AWS Developer or Security certification. Experience with containerization (Docker). Professional or personal experience with Large Language Model (LLM) Application such as Claude Code (CLI) preferred. Experience in AI Assisted Development preferred.
