Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to maintain and enhance a critical business application and help modernize new ones in the Greater Houston area. The role involves translating requirements with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure software for job planning, logistics, and revenue workflows.

The position is work-from-home with the need to reside near Sugar Land, TX and onsite twice a month (1st and 3rd Wednesdays).

Qualifications

Insight Global is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support a client in the Greater Houston area. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a critical business application while also contributing to the development and modernization of new applications.The developer will work closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate requirements and user stories into scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications. The environment includes both legacy and modern technologies, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting existing .NET applications while helping the team introduce newer development practices and technologies.A major focus of the role will be supporting applications related to job planning, logistics, operations, and revenue workflows. These applications help manage the full lifecycle of a job, including customer requirements, design, operational scheduling, equipment and truck loading priorities, transportation to job sites, tooling, and revenue-related information.This is a work-from-home position; however, candidates must reside within driving distance of Sugar Land, TX and be able to work onsite twice per month, typically the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience with .NET development and related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC / .NET.
• Strong proficiency in C#.
• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure development and cloud-based application deployment.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications.
