Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver web apps, dashboards, and backend services within an agile team. You will craft modern user interfaces, integrate with backend systems, and embed AI features across our application ecosystem.

You will collaborate with product, data, and DevOps to ensure scalable, secure solutions, leveraging React/Angular/Vue, D3.js charts, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud platforms. HIPAA awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• 3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js/Chart.js/Recharts) for interactive dashboards.
• 3+ years backend development (Node.js/Python/Java/C#) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• Hands-on DevOps with CI/CD, containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs) into software features.
• Familiarity with YAML configurations and automation scripting (Python/Shell/PowerShell).
• Experience with real-time data streaming and healthcare data basics (HIPAA compliance).
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality web applications, dashboards, and backend integration services.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, product, and DevOps teams in an agile environment.
• Build modern UIs and integrate backend systems with complex data objects.
• Embed AI capabilities into our application ecosystem and troubleshoot end-to-end issues.
