Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web applications, dashboards and backend services in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will build modern UIs, integrate backend systems with complex data, and embed AI capabilities across our application ecosystem.

You should have 5+ years in full stack development, 3+ years with React or similar, experience with Node.js/Python/Java/C#, REST/GraphQL, databases, CI/CD, Docker, cloud platforms, and AI API integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• 3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
• 3+ years of backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, C#) and API design (REST, GraphQL).
• Strong hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• Hands-on DevOps including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs) into software features.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across full stack, databases, and integrations.
• Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant healthcare data and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
