Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a .NET development environment.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design (ASP.NET Web API).
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms and OO design.
• Experience with Design Patterns in C#.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL/PL/SQL.
• Experience with NHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Multithreaded server-side development.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex business systems and explain them to other developers
• Develop component designs that fit existing architecture
• Analyze, test, design, code, debug, modify and implement system requirements
• Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Plan and estimate development for key components
• Balance design considerations with required functionality
• Solve business problems using proven technologies
• Work with operations, DBAs and systems software in production support
• Develop high-performance, data-intensive applications in a clustered environment
• Identify root causes and implement fixes for failures
• Collaborate with BAs and QA for feature testing, regression and integration testing
• Plan and execute unit tests to ensure code quality
