Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and support scalable risk management applications and data solutions. The role spans front-end, back-end, cloud, data, and DevOps, partnering with engineers, modelers, and business stakeholders to enable real-time services and analytics.

This position follows a hybrid routine (4 days in‑office, 1 day remote) and requires strong C#/.NET skills, web services, APIs, SQL, and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience or 3+ years with a Master’s in a related field.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET with design of web services and cloud-based apps.
• Front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong SQL skills and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with unit/integration testing, Git workflows, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of secure development and code quality controls.
• Experience in an Agile-Scrum environment and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance .NET applications, web services, APIs, and responsive interfaces in a cloud environment.
• Develop data pipelines and queries using SQL, BigQuery, Oracle, or similar.
• Create front-end solutions with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular; ensure quality releases.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native apps on Google Cloud Platform and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis; document solutions and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high-quality features in an Agile-Scrum setting.
