Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior .NET Developer (Fintech) to build and maintain scalable backend services for payment processing and financial operations. You will design resilient integrations, implement automated tests, and own critical fintech systems in a remote, global team.

You will work with Azure, Docker, AKS, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB, applying AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security and high performance. Prior experience in fintech is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial software development with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on with Azure, Docker, and AKS; databases SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools for tasks from definition to implementation.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to explain code, including AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and back-office operations.
• Design resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows (idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas).
• Build microservices to meet latency and SLA/SLO targets.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational practices.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and tests.
• Write clean code and automated tests; participate in code reviews.
• Share knowledge and maintain technical specs with the team.
• Take ownership of deliverables and address defects proactively.
