Job summary
Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the technical delivery, quality, and operational health of applications within the .NET/Azure stack. You will lead hands-on full‑stack development, architecture, and delivery across product areas.
Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps and security to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions. You may supervise engineers and guide design reviews while maintaining hands-on involvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field.
- Seven years of progressive software engineering experience.
- At least three years of senior-level technical leadership.
- Experience delivering complex enterprise applications.
- Experience with C#, .NET, and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery from design through production and support.
- Serve as primary technical SME for assigned applications and processes.
- Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Coordinate activities, estimates, risks, and sequencing within the area.
- Mentor engineers; lead design reviews and engineering problem solving.
- Ensure security, reliability, and observability of solutions.
