Job summary

The Cynet Systems Inc. client in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead .NET Azure Developer to join a contract engagement. The role requires extensive API development using .NET and Azure with 8+ years of experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy premier software.

You will mentor junior developers, drive architecture discussions, and ensure best practices in CI/CD and cloud deployments using Terraform and modern patterns like microservices and CQRS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of API development using .NET and Azure development.
• Strong experience with the Microsoft development stack: .NET Core/Framework, C#, JavaScript, RESTful services, ORM, T-SQL, JSON, MVC, XML, HTML, CSS and Azure-based architectures.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts to utilize IaC using Terraform to deploy Azure infrastructure.
• Background in modern architecture patterns: Microservices, SOA, DDD, CQRS, Async Messaging, Service Bus, Event Sourcing, APIs, and Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform full life cycle application development, including researching options and building proof of concepts.
• Determine optimal solutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability and scalability with developers and architects.
• Assist Product Management in creating product roadmaps and achievable objectives.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and Offshore team to create solution designs following architecture guidance.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate, own problems/solutions, drive stakeholder conversations.
• Perform code reviews to ensure standards and best practices.
