Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a senior .NET Developer to lead end-to-end design and development of critical Medicaid/Medicare claiming applications. The role focuses on C#, .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and modern cloud/DevOps patterns in a fully remote environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions. 100% remote with contract-to-hire potential; W2 only, no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Approximately 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 10+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Extensive experience with .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating them into enterprise applications.
• Advanced experience with SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework for data access and ORM.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience using Git for source control in a team environment.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience leading development teams and driving technical initiatives across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of core applications, including Medicaid/Medicare claiming system.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code using C#, .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL Server databases.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement secure application design principles and data protection practices.
• Leverage Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps to design CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Git for source control and code reviews; manage branching strategies.
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Provide senior technical leadership through mentoring and code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategy with business goals.
• Drive performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.
