Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a seasoned developer to maintain and build data extraction packages and support large .NET solutions. The role involves SQL Server optimization, SSIS data imports/exports, and developing Windows services within a budget system context.

Strong communication, disaster recovery planning, and VB.Net coding skills are essential, along with a BS in a related field and at least eight years of experience in similar environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of development and data extraction experience.
• 8 years SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization experience.
• Experience with VB.Net and .NET solutions.
• Experience with SSIS for data import/export.
• Knowledge of MSDTC and TDE encryption.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience designing disaster recovery plans.
• Ability to write and review VB.Net code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts.
• Maintain complicated applications supported by Applications Development: Budget System.
• Assist state employees with .Net solutions and mentor on best practices.
• Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL.
• Experience developing window services.
• Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans.
• Ability to write and review VB.Net code.
• Develop detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications.
