Job summary

Princeton IT Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer to design and build full-stack .NET and GIS solutions, integrating enterprise systems and supporting ArcGIS-based applications.

The role covers application development, spatial data workflows, Azure services, RESTful APIs, and GIS tool development, with opportunities to collaborate across city agencies and ensure quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IS, GIS or related field.
• 8+ years of full-stack .NET and GIS development experience.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular.
• 4+ years with ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap; ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET and Python.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Azure, DevOps, Git, CI/CD and release management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication; able to work with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack solutions using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and ArcGIS Maps SDK.
• Design interfaces and integration flows using Visual Studio and related platforms.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases and geospatial data structures.
• Build scalable applications using Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Functions.
• Design, develop ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap apps and extensions for spatial data editing.
• Develop GIS tools/workflows using Python, ArcPy, Arcade, ModelBuilder.
• Integrate GIS apps and data with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Maintain spatial data quality and optimize spatial databases.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integration solutions for GIS/enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements.
• Create and maintain technical docs, workflows, and user guides.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and support adoption across the organization.
