AVER is seeking a Senior .NET Application Developer in Washington, DC to join a fast-growing SDVOSB focused on data analytics, mission support, and IT modernization. You will lead development across the full SDLC, build data automation, dashboards, and production-ready solutions for government clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration, and mentoring within a team that values client service and transformative technology. On-site in DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 8+ years of technical analysis experience as a .Net Software Application Developer.
• Proficient in C#, .NET Core, .NET 6+ and .NET Framework 4.8+.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; Azure services.
• Experience with EF Core, SQL Server, Oracle; NoSQL Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
• Front-end: JQuery, AJAX, Telerik Kendo UI.
• RESTful Web Services and Windows Services; ASP.NET Core.
• Security: Entra ID, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
• RBAC and claims-based authentication.
• Windows Server 2019+.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated success delivering solutions across the full systems development lifecycle.
• Design and implement data automation solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Develop automated tools, preferably leveraging open‑source technologies.
• Create dashboards and executive‑level reports for senior leadership.
• Perform system analysis, design, development, training, data conversion, implementation, and end user support.
• Support of websites, data-entry systems, and client‑server applications.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot production software problems.
• Coordinate conversion/integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Design and develop new software or major enhancements; evaluate effectiveness.
• Address integration across platforms and services; consult with teams and users.
• Mentor less senior staff and provide technical guidance to clients and team.
• Instruct and direct work of others on the development team.
