Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Senior Application Technical Specialist for Washington, DC onsite. The role focuses on implementing and managing IT services, ensuring high quality platforms, and aligning with industry standards for development, testing and deployment.

The candidate will lead design, development, and deployment efforts across government-aligned applications, mentor developers, and collaborate with DHS OIS and partner agencies to meet priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with .NET/ASP/C#, SQL Server, SQL and procedural languages.
• Hands-on experience with Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP and WebLogic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy applications supporting case/program management.
• Provide mentorship and technical advice to application teams.
• Offer strategic technical guidance to leaders and customers of the OIS.
• Implement programming standards for secure, defect-free apps.
• Engage with government clients to meet technical requirements for initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure security and quality.
• Define and document development processes for the team.
• Plan and recommend new tools and technologies.
• Use monitoring tools to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Update docs, user guides, ER diagrams, and SOPs as needed.
