Job summary

Truist seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain complex integration services for Wealth Brokerage and Trust. You will combine .NET/C#, SQL Server and Azure with practical integration expertise across REST APIs, messaging, batch processing and managed file transfer.

The role collaborates with product, architecture, data, security and vendor teams to ensure integrations are secure, observable and supportable within business and control requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or computer science.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in information systems or IT best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure REST APIs and integration services using .NET/C#.
• Create clear interface contracts, data structures, validation rules and versioning approaches.
• Implement data integration using SQL Server, Azure services, messaging and batch processes.
• Use Python for data transformation, automation or testing utilities where appropriate.
• Apply security controls, encryption and least-privilege principles to integrations.
• Develop automated tests and ensure observability with logging, metrics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with architecture and platform teams on cloud migration and deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot defects and incidents across APIs, databases and vendor interfaces.
