Job summary

LRQA is seeking a Senior Developer to join its engineering team and drive the next growth phase for the global client portal. You will design and deliver robust .NET 10 backend services, move data access to modern REST APIs, and own technical outcomes that elevate client experience.

You will mentor teammates, lead architectural decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET (including .NET 10) in production environments.
• Experience building ASP.NET Core APIs.
• Good Azure platform experience for hosting, integrations, and delivery.
• Strong SQL capability with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Experience with Redis caching strategies.
• Experience with FluentValidation.
• Strong secure API development and modern authentication approaches (Auth0).
• Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Experience applying AI in engineering practice to improve quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of new portal capabilities that improve client value and product adoption.
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality .NET 10 backend services and APIs.
• Lead migration of data access from legacy endpoints to modern REST-based services.
• Own architecture and implementation decisions for the portal’s next chapter.
• Ensure high code quality through standards, reviews, and maintainable practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Apply DevSecOps mindset to secure and resilient development and delivery.
• Monitor AI trends and pragmatically apply them to improve outcomes.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for the product area.
• Mentor and support teammates within a small Scrum team.
