Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a seasoned NERC O&P Compliance Lead to support the RWE Americas NERC Internal Compliance Program, ensuring compliance with NERC O&P Standards and relevant ISO/RTO requirements for power generation and battery systems.

The role requires working with minimal supervision, serving as SME for assigned Standards, leading investigations, audits, training, and the development of mitigation plans, while coordinating with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in a NERC compliance role with renewable power and battery systems preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of NERC O&P Standards and their application.
• SME for assigned Standards; lead regulatory changes and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and monitoring of the NERC O&P compliance program.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable reliability standards and ISO/RTO rules.
• Lead investigations, self-reports, and mitigation plans to NERC.
• Coordinate training and dissemination of compliance guidance.
• Oversee regulatory requests, audits, and data submissions.
• Provide guidance to internal teams and lead compliance assessments.
