The role requires strong NEPA expertise, program management experience, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance. Travel up to 30% may be required, with eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 8+ years in environmental planning/NEPA/compliance.
• 3+ years leading complex environmental programs.
• Experience reviewing NEPA documents (EAs, EISs, FONSIs, RODs).
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as senior SETA environmental planning and NEPA program integration lead.
• Provide program-level technical assistance and recommendations to leadership.
• Plan, coordinate, track, and oversee multiple NEPA actions across the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain environmental schedules, trackers, and risk registers.
• Lead preparation and QA of NEPA documentation (ROD, EIS, EAs, etc.).
• Integrate environmental requirements early in project planning to reduce risk.
• Advise program managers and other stakeholders on documentation requirements and impacts.
• Coordinate with Army environmental offices, legal counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Support inspections and assessments for environmental compliance.
• Review studies and contractor deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Establish standardized environmental planning processes and templates.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to SETA personnel and subcontractors.
• Prepare executive briefings and risk assessments for leadership.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations up to 30%.
