Job summary
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a full-time NEPA / Environmental Project Manager to join our Midwest Region team in Kansas City, Missouri. You will lead NEPA/environmental projects through all phases, from scope development to final deliverables, coordinating with internal and external clients.
The role offers opportunity to scale with experience, with strong writing, budgeting, and team leadership requirements.
Qualifications
- 7-12+ years of experience managing environmental projects under NEPA and related regs.
- Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences, Transportation Planning or similar.
- Knowledge of federal grants, policies and procedures.
- Experience authoring NEPA documents and technical resource reports.
- Collaboration with agencies like USFWS and USACE.
- Experience with DoD, USACE, DOE or VA contracts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage NEPA/environmental projects through all phases from scope to final deliverables.
- Coordinate with task leads, subconsultants, and clients to meet schedules and budgets.
- Prepare proposals, coordinate staff, and ensure quality control of documents.
- Lead the preparation of environmental documentation (EIS/EA/CE) and reports.
- Support marketing and business development for the environmental practice.
