Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Neonatologist to join the Denver Front Range division, supporting Saint Joseph Hospital’s Level III NICU with 53 beds and affiliated units. You’ll collaborate with a large team including 37 neonatal APPs and support staff to deliver high‑quality newborn care.

Compensation includes a guaranteed base of $370,000 with a $10,000 annual incentive and a starting bonus of $25,000, plus relocation assistance if needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neonatology.
• Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.
• US ACGME Pediatric Residency completed.
• Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage conditions of newborns; develop treatment plans.
• Provide life-saving interventions and critical care for neonates.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor progress of premature infants.
• Coordinate care with nurses, pediatricians, and specialists; ensure comprehensive care.
• Lead, mentor, and educate neonatal nurses, residents, and medical students.
