Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine-affiliated Frederick Health Hospital NICU seeks a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide independent, collaborative care for well and ill neonates.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required and NP board certification.
• RN license and NP certification required.
• MD state NP licensure required or eligible to practice.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of related clinical experience; residency/fellowship may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive/neonatal health assessments to promote optimal health.
• Performs H&P for acute and ill neonates in NICU and maintains records.
• Establishes medical diagnoses and orders/interprets relevant labs/tests.
• Performs high-risk neonatal procedures and resuscitation as needed.
• Develops and implements treatment plans aligned with current guidelines.
