Job summary

Atlas is seeking a senior NDT Technician Special Inspector to support fabrication shop inspections and field projects across the US, including Boise, ID. The role involves testing per procedures, safety compliance, and daily reporting on projects at multiple locations.

Required certifications include CWI/UT II with MT II, PT II, PAUT and AMP I/II as preferred; additional welding/bolting certifications are a plus. Strong field readiness and customer interaction are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have CWI/UT II certification.
• Preferred MT II, PT II, PAUT and AMP I or II.
• Experience with reinforced concrete and structural welding/bolting certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in accordance with approved procedures and codes.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily reports detailing work performed and conclusions.
• Interface professionally with customers to address issues.
• Work outdoors on construction sites, including at heights and in inclement weather.
• Heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required.
• Move and maneuver testing tools and equipment as needed.
