Job summary

RTX/Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering NDT Technician for the Heated Composites product line. You will learn procedures and strategies for process improvements in a team-based aerospace environment, with potential progression to project management and leadership.

The role emphasizes non-destructive bond testing, programming NDT equipment, and creating manufacturing instructions, BOMs, and ECOs within an onsite setting. Strong writing and technical skills are valued.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Non-destructive bond testing, level 1 limited.
• Programming NDT test equipment
• Manufacturing instruction creation and maintenance
• Manufacturing bill of materials & router maintenance
• Engineering change order/manufacturing change order creation
• Development of manufacturing process improvements improving capacity and throughput
• Works autonomously with limited supervision within a team and alongside production personnel
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
