Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Senior NDT Manager to lead a team of technical experts supporting the supply base and internal module centers. The role focuses on ownership of NDT methods, supplier surveillance, qualifications, and quality issue resolution.

You will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate risks to upper management. The position is onsite in the US with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 7–10 years of relevant experience for the role.
• Knowledge of NDT methods in an operations environment (Ultrasonic, X-Ray, Penetrant, Etch, Eddy Current).
• Strong leadership experience managing multi-department projects and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of certified technical experts providing support to the supply base and internal module centers.
• Own procedures and methods, oversee supplier surveillance, site and personnel qualifications, and quality issue resolution.
• Provide training and indirect leadership of inspectors; collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes to increase efficiency and communicate status and risks to upper management.
• Participate in weekly status and priority meetings with management.
