Job summary

You will work with maintenance and operations to identify opportunities and support remediation choices. The job emphasizes ASME/API/OSHA compliance, NDT testing (ultrasonic, penetrant, radiography, thermal imaging), and coordinating inspections with certified personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as NDT Inspector or degree in Metallurgy or Engineering.
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level I or II qualifications and API certifications are a plus.
• Working knowledge of materials of construction and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with Health and Safety practices in a chemical facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Mechanical Inspection Program to assure compliance with ASME, API, and OSHA.
• Operate non-destructive testing instruments on process equipment.
• Coordinate static equipment inspections with certified inspectors.
• Develop inspection frequencies and document performance and corrosion rates.
• Use SAP and MS Office to schedule, organize, conduct, and analyze inspection data.
• Provide maintenance consulting for failure analyses and operation procedures.
• Support value-based decisions on maintenance repairs.
• Collaborate with teams to continuously improve plant operations.
• Adhere to safety programs and plant guiding principles.
