Qualifications

• NDT Level III Examiner Certification IAW NAVSEA procedures (VT, PT, MT).
• Experience managing welding/brazing/NDT programs on NAVSEA contracts.
• Strong QA practices, audits, and process improvement.
• Ability to read specs and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Reports to QA Director for all assignments and supervision.
• Administers training, qualification and maintenance programs for Welder, Brazer and NDT.
• Oversees and manages Welding/Brazing/NDT programs through subordinate staff.
• Oversees quality standards for material receiving, in-process and final inspection.
• Reviews work packages for completeness, accuracy and compliance with specs and customer requirements.
• Performs in-process surveillances and final package reviews for welding, brazing and NDT.
• Conducts internal audits and supplier audits to ensure compliance.
• liaises with customers, vendors and departments for program support.
• Notifies management of trends, vendor performance and corrective actions.
