Job summary

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector Level III for the National City, CA area. The role focuses on developing and administering NDT, welding and brazing training and qualification programs for NAVSEA, AWS, ASME and ABS programs.

The candidate will supervise quality programs across ship repair and modernization projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company standards. Excellent English communication and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• NDT Level III certification required (IAW NAVSEA standards).
• Extensive experience managing welding/brazing/NDT programs for NAVSEA projects.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Report to QA Director for assignments and supervision.
• Administer Welder, Brazer and NDT training and qualification programs.
• Manage Welding, Brazing and NDT programs through subordinates.
• Oversee quality standards for material receiving and final inspection.
• Review work packages for completeness and compliance with specifications.
• Perform in-process surveillance and final package reviews.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure procedures and supplier compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and departments for program support.
• Advise management on test trends, vendor performance and corrective actions.
• Train and discipline assigned personnel as needed.
• Administer qualification exams for Welders, Brazers and NDT staff.
• Develop quality standards for welders and NDT personnel.
• Monitor adherence to Quality Management System and customer requirements.
• Develop QA procedures for inclusion in work packages and QA books.
• Define test standards and required equipment.
