Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced NDT professional to support the F‑35 program. The role requires NDT Level III certification and NAS‑410/ASNT qualifications with multiple methods, including UT/ET/RT, and the ability to obtain clearance.

You will prepare technique data sheets, develop training materials, evaluate new inspection tech, and assist in budgeting for the NDI group. The position may include 1st/2nd shift and possible weekend work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (STEM) or equivalent experience with current NDE Level III certifications.
Certified NDE Level III I.A.W. NAS‑410 or ASNT in a minimum of 3 methods with at least one certification in UT, ET, or RT.
Minimum 9 years professional experience.
Capability to acquire ASNT certification within 2 years.
Experience using automated inspection systems.
Experience with electronic drawing systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare and advise on Technique Data Sheets (TDS), including evaluation of supplier/co‑producer TDSs and procedures.
Prepare and review engineering specifications and participate in the development of NDI training course material for NDI Level I and Level II Inspection personnel.
Develop and evaluate new equipment technology Inspection Reference Parts (IRPs).
Assist in writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and assist NDI Test Engineering team members in creating budgets and capital plans.
