Job summary

ACL Digital in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Senior NDT Engineer (Materials, Process & Physics) to support aerospace programs by developing, qualifying, and sustaining NDE procedures and measurement technologies for aircraft maintenance inspections.

The role requires 10+ years of engineering experience (or advanced degree with 4–7 years), U.S. person for export compliance, and proficiency with ultrasonic, eddy current, radiography NDT methods, CAD tools, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering, CS, Math, Physics, or Chemistry.
• 10+ years of engineering experience (or Master’s +7 yrs / PhD +4 yrs).
• Must be a U.S. Person for Export Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop NDE procedures and reference standards for aircraft maintenance inspections.
• Write technical engineering specifications and documentation.
• Evaluate and qualify new NDT tools, equipment, materials, and emerging technologies.
• Audit suppliers and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Apply project management, LEAN, and Quality principles to hit cost and schedule targets.
