Job summary

The Judge Group is hiring an MP&P Engineer 2 focused on Nondestructive Testing and measurement systems in Tukwila, WA. This role supports the NDE customer service and emerging technology team, contributing to certification and qualification services across the value stream for NDE.

The position requires a strong engineering background with NDI systems experience and will involve developing procedures, standards, and specifications for airline customer maintenance inspections, while applying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master of Science in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with NDI systems: ultrasonics, eddy current, radiography.

Responsibilities

• Develops NDE procedures in support of airline customer maintenance inspections.
• Designs NDE reference standards in support of inspection procedures.
• Develops engineering specifications and other documents to meet customer needs.
• Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs.
• Assists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements.
• Performs routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements.
• Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
• Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areas.

Job Description:

The Nondestructive Testing Customer Support and Emerging Technology team provides certification and qualification services across the value stream for NDE.

Position Responsibilities:
