Job summary

Integrity Specialists LLC in Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline NDT Technician to inspect interstate pipelines using UT, MT, PT, and Phased Array UT, while leading field teams and coordinating with engineers and project managers. You will document inspections using Excel, produce reports, and travel up to 90% with a 30-hour minimum weekly guarantee.

A minimum of 3 years NDT experience and Level II MT/UT certifications are required, along with ITS/Veriforce/ISNetworld

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of NDT experience in pipeline integrity.
• At least 2 years of experience with Pipeline Integrity Bellhole Examinations.
• Level II MT & UT certifications with documented training hours.
• Valid operator qualifications via ITS, Veriforce, or ISNetworld.
• Experience with RSTRENG or KAPA analysis and calculation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pipeline inspections using UT, MT, PT, Phased Array UT and other NDT methods to identify defects.
• Diagnose root causes of pipeline anomalies.
• Prepare and modify complex inspection reports in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Provide photographic evidence of pipeline conditions and defects.
• Document repairs and validate pipeline repairs.
• Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a clean driving record.
• Perform additional duties to support inspection projects.

Position Summary

We’re building a Talent Community of experienced Senior Pipeline NDE Technicians who may be a good fit for future opportunities with Integrity Specialists. As a Senior Pipeline NDT Technician, you will inspect interstate pipelines for flaws such as corrosion, damage, and leaks using various NDT and corrosion inspection technologies. You will lead field teams and manage inspection projects with a high degree of independence. Collaboration with engineers, inspectors, and project managers is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pipeline inspections using methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Phased Array UT, and other NDT techniques to identify pipeline defects.
• Diagnose and determine the root cause of pipeline anomalies.
• Prepare and modify complex inspection reports using Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in Word and Outlook.
• Provide photographic evidence of pipeline conditions and defects.
• Document repair activities and validate pipeline repairs.
• Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a clean driving record.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support inspection projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of NDT experience, including pipeline integrity work.
• At least 2 years of experience with Pipeline Integrity Bellhole Examinations.
• Level II MT & UT certifications with documented training hours.
• General knowledge of the following: Phased Array UT (Omniscan), Creaform Laser Scanning and RSTRENG or KAPA analysis and calculations.
• Valid operator qualifications via Industrial Training Services (ITS), Veriforce, or ISNetworld.
• Experience with RSTRENG or KAPA analysis and calculation.
• Experience with Eddyfi Spyne inspection technology is a plus.
• Must consent to drug testing following a conditional offer of employment.
• Physical ability to perform occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, walking, and standing.
• Required vision capabilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focusing.
• Frequent driving is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25 - $27+ per hour, depending on experience
• Per diem while traveling
