Job summary

bastiontechnologies is seeking a Nondestructive Evaluation Engineer to support the space program in Houston, TX. The engineer will focus on NDE methods such as x-ray inspection and ultrasonic testing, and will be responsible for developing NDE procedures and providing support for NDE operations.

The ideal candidate should have significant NDE experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team. This position is onsite with a 9/80 work schedule and potential travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent and related work experience.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
• Experience in NDE procedure assessments and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Review NDE procedures and inspection reports.
• Provide recommendations for qualification and acceptance testing.
• Participate in technical forums and meetings.
