Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Expert Level Automation and Robotic Programmer for contract work across Everett, Renton, or Auburn in Washington. The role focuses on ABB, KUKA, Fanuc robots and RobotStudio, plus CAD/CAM tooling to improve manufacturing processes.

The contractor will work with production engineers, interact with mechanics and equipment services, and maintain safety, quality, and integrity standards on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed machining in a production environment.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• 9+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Consults with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical requirements for numerical control and manufacturing processes.
• Identifies equipment and approaches, ensures accommodation of numerical control programming and resolves manufacturing or production process concerns.
• Manages implementation of new and revised computing applications for design, machining or inspection systems.
• Trains and mentors others.
• Works under consultative direction.
