Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer 4 (Structures) for 6 months in the Everett/Renton, WA area. The role is onsite, with a 1st shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, to lead NC programming for aerospace multi-axis parts in aluminium and hard metals.

You will create and verify 5-axis NC programs, simulate with VERICUT, and develop fixtures and machining strategies while interpreting drawings, GD&T, and specs to prevent shop-floor issues. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in 5-axis CNC programming for aerospace parts (or 8+ yrs with HS / 6+ yrs with Associate’s / 4+ yrs with Bachelor’s).
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 NC and VERICUT.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify, and revise 5-axis NC programs (MCD), tooling geometry, and setup instructions.
• Use VERICUT to simulate and validate programs, preventing collisions and gouges.
• Lead design for custom fixtures, complex tooling, and multi-setup machining strategies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to resolve shop-floor issues.
