Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior NC Programmer to develop machining and manufacturing plans, including mounting, tooling, and NC programming for complex parts. You will drive efficient, rapid start-up of new machining processes across multiple product lines and work closely with internal and external customers.

The role requires 10+ years in machining and programming, hands-on shop-floor leadership, and U.S. person eligibility for export-controlled work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of programming and machining experience on large-part machining with hard metals and exotic materials.
• Experience in machining, automation, prototyping, and process development.
• Hands-on in a manufacturing environment near operations and manufacturing engineering to optimize the production system.
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
• Experience with architecture/infrastructure partners and/or general contractors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, innovate and lead tooling, programming and machining solutions for new processes and technologies.
• Question requirements in product and production design to ensure cost- and schedule-effective solutions.
• Support design, construction, commissioning and start-up of production systems at new factory sites.
• Lead hands-on: set an example and expedite project completion.
• Drive collaboration across design, engineering, operations, facilities, EH&S and finance to deliver production system designs and coordinate with vendors.
