Job summary

Advanced Navigation is seeking a Navigation Solutions Architect to design technical solutions for major customers, bridging customer needs with Product and Engineering teams. You will translate requirements, validate architectures, and influence the roadmap while mentoring engineers.

You will work with commercial and defense accounts, travel up to 25%+ to customer sites, and maintain deep knowledge of inertial sensors, GNSS, and related systems to drive top-tier solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's preferred.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance (current or recently lapsed acceptable).
• 20+ years of relevant engineering experience across multiple disciplines.
• Experience spanning Sales, SWE, EE, and MechE and customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Translate client performance requirements into architectural navigation system designs and hardware/software configurations.
• Lead the design and validation of Advanced Navigation product configurations for client missions.
• Lead PoC projects to validate feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
• Mentor the Application Engineering team and inform the product roadmap.
