Ingalls Shipbuilding is seeking a design engineer to create and refine components and systems for naval vessels. You will use CAD tools to draft and optimize designs, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure ease of production and adherence to specifications.

Candidates should have a strong background in engineering design, with preference for naval ship experience. This is a full-time on-site role in Mississippi with travel as needed to support programs.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of experience.
• Associates degree or technical2-year degree with 6 years of experience.

Mansioni

• Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to improve products.
• Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups.
