Serco is actively seeking a Project Manager to lead PORTS program initiatives for Navy training systems in the U.S. This role involves coordinating with the Program Manager, customers, and project teams to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field, 5+ years of management experience including profit and loss, and familiarity with software development projects. Some travel is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing software development projects or hardware/software delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
